Marley
Although possibly having no stamina at all (!), Marley is quick and really enjoys agility. Because I wasn't prepared to have a puppy at the time, he isn't a serious competitive dog. He probably won't have a show until he reaches four! Everything has to be kept short for him at the moment, and repetition is key - but not too much! He loves his straight lines as any dog with his length legs would, but tight turns and short spaced jumps are proving very difficult. He's definitely making me learn more about my balance and placing though as he is very sensitive to movement. In the wrong place and he won't have time to think about the next jump, lean too far into the place and he'll go the wrong way. He's teaching me to be very precise as to where I stand and what I say.
Sadly Marley has major fear issues and as a result doesn't do flyball anymore. The concept of the sport he likes, although it took a while to latch on, however being around so many noisy dogs wasn't his cup of tea! I made the decision to stop, although he still does love to work. We trained with the Tyne Tailwaggers who he and I miss very much but luckily we get to see some of them at agility!
